Restaurant Style Salsa

Recipe Originated From: Pioneer Woman

  • 28 Ounces Whole Tomatoes

  • 2 (10 Ounce) Original Rotel Tomatoes - Drained

  • 1 Very Small Yellow Onion - Coarsely Chopped

  • 1 Garlic Cloves - Minced

  • 1 Jalapeno - Halved & Thinly Sliced

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Sugar

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Kosher Salt

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cumin

  • Small Handful Cilantro - Chopped

  • Juice of 1 Small Lime

 

(1)  Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender.  Pulse until the salsa is the consistency you like.

 

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (although I didn't read this part until now...lol...and it was still fantastic) and

serve with chips!!  Don't let the canned tomatoes question this recipe - it is truly amazing!
